Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) uses the same process as hypnosis to make changes, but is essentially a more advanced form of waking hypnosis. It is a tool for personal change, which is both rapid and fun to work with. It focuses on how we think (Neuro); how we communicate (Linguistic); and how best to use our thinking and communication (Programming) to achieve new results.
As such NLP enables us to understand ourselves, how we think, how we feel and how we make sense of everything that happens around us. NLP therapy therefore provides a valuable insight into your life and what makes you "tick".
It is only to be expected that everybody has some negative experiences in their lives, that lead to thoughts which are unhelpful in producing healthy feelings or behaviours. NLP help us to understand ourselves better and build new resources to overcome such obstacles. NLP techniques enable us to actively use our minds to change our feelings and our behaviours to gain greater control over how you live your life and how you interact with others.
